Watch amazing sunrises from your porch every morning at the Water Street Inn and Marina.

If you’re searching for a peaceful, dog-friendly getaway on Florida’s Forgotten Coast, look no further than Apalachicola. This charming fishing town offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Our stay at the Water Street Hotel and Marina was the icing on the cake, making our trip truly memorable.

Water Street Hotel and Marina: A Home Away from Home

From the moment we arrived at the Water Street Hotel and Marina, we knew we had found a hidden gem. The property is meticulously maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made us and our dog feel right at home.

Our suite was more than we could have asked for: two spacious bedrooms, two well-appointed bathrooms, and a full kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The living room area was comfortable and inviting, but the highlight was the screened-in porch deck. Facing the water and marina, it provided the perfect spot to unwind and witness the breathtaking sunrises across the sound. It was so quiet and peaceful that we often found ourselves sitting out there for hours, soaking in the serene atmosphere.

The hotel’s dog-friendly policy was another major plus. We never had to worry about leaving our furry friend behind, and the property itself was quiet, making it a relaxing stay for both humans and dogs alike. The pool area was also a nice touch—a lovely spot to cool off after a day of exploring.
